	Don't sign up. They promise all this great customer service that simply does not exist. My phone and service has been bad since day one and all they have to say is to bad buy another phone or pay $200 to terminate your contract.

	Got our Alltel phones one week ago. spent an hour with 2 CS reps to get it working righ. Wife is dissatisfied with both her first and second one. Mine (kx5 slider) has such scratchy reception it is unusable. This is all over the nation as I am an over the road trucker. Fortunately I havent given up my 3 year old midwest wireless Nokia yet. Shits hit'n the Alltel fan when I get home next week.

	You will notice that anyone who gives a positive review has not yet dealt with Alltel's customer service (or lack of it). I won't go into the boring details, there will be plenty of that here but do yourself a favor and avoid this nightmare.

	I switched to Alltel from what was called AT&T over 2 years ago and have NEVER been sorry, as far as being able to make a call when and where I want to make a call, what I mainly bought a cell phone for. I have had good customer service when I call 611 on my cell phone, BUT...... when I walk in to the local Alltel store, you get people that don't seem to care and don't seem to know their product, PLUS....... long lines and RUDE people. If you are in this area and want your cell phone to work when and where you want it to, then Alltel is the way to go.
